The bank has released notification for recruitment of office attendant. A total of 75 vacancies are available at different levels of cadre. The detail of the notification for the recruitment is provided below:

• Name of the post: Messenger cum Sweepers (Redesignated as office attendant, multipurpose)
• Number of vacancies: 75 total vacancies further distributed district wise

Age limitation, qualification and experience to apply in APG Bank

An upper age limit of 26 years is applicable for the post. According to the instructions issued by Central government, age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and other categories. The details for the same are mentioned below:

1. age relaxation to SC/ST – 5 years
2. age relaxation to OBC – 3 years
3. age relaxation the ex-servicemen – 3 years + total number of years of service in defence (subject to a maximum of 50 years)
4. age relaxation to persons with disabilities:
   1. SC/ST – 15 years
   2. OBC – 13 years
   3. General – 10 years

8 ^th standard pass from a government recognized schools is the basic educational qualification. It is also necessary for the candidate to read, write and communicate in the local language and English.

Selection procedure for APG Bank Recruitment

Appointment to the post of office attendant is carried out through direct recruitment. A committee member will decide on the final selection of office attendants. A reference is also carried out by the committee to the local employment exchange, welfare agencies of scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes, Sainik Board.  Other candidates, who are sponsored, shall apply for the post for which selected candidates will undergo interview for direct recruitment. Selection of candidates for the post mentioned above is based purely on the outcome of the interview results .

Application procedure

There is no application fee involved for the post of office attendant. Eligible candidates can directly appear for the final round of interview. The interview process is not applicable for those who are sponsored by employment exchange, agencies and Sainik Board. Candidates who are sponsored by agencies, individuals who approached the court are also eligible for the post of office attendant. The selection committee will eventually recruit the right person after the scheduled interview has been finished.
