Where can I find the SSC CGL Exam admit card 2016?

The admit card for CGL 2016 is available on the official website of SSC, that is, www.scconline.nic.in . Candidates should note the fact that admit card is a confidential document and hence, will not be available on any other portal apart from the one where the registration process took place.

How to download CGL Exam 2016 admit card?

The download process is simple. Any candidate with a little knowledge of computers and the internet can download CGL admit card 2016 within a matter of minutes. Here is a simplified version of the download process-

Step 1- Visit the official website

To begin with, the candidate must open an internet browser and type the address www.ssconline.nic.in or www.ssc.nic.in . Both these websites offer official information for SSC.

Step 2- Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section

We are assuming that you have visited the second website and hence, you would be required to select the link which will direct you to download the admit card. When you visit the website, you will see numerous links. Take a look at the top of the page where various tabs are present. In those tabs there will be one which says ‘Admit Card’. Click on that tab.

Step 3- Select your zone

After clicking on the option you will be required to select your respective zone from a pop up window. For an example, if you belong from Chennai, then you should select the Southern Zone section.

Step 4- Select ‘Download Admit Card’ option

Once you are on the zonal website, it becomes easier for you to download the admit card. Simply find the link which says ‘Download Admit Card’ and wait for a new page to open.

Step 5- Choose your exam

After a new page opens up, choose your exam from the list.

Step 6- Enter your details

For downloading the admit card, you will be required to enter 2 details- your registration number and your date of birth. After entering these two information, click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ tab and your download will begin automatically.

Once the admit card has been downloaded, you can either save the same on the computer or get a printout. It is advised to take a print out and a keep the soft copy as well for any future use. Do not forget to check the details mentioned on your admit card. If you find any mistake, inform the SSC authority about the same immediately.
