Important Dates : Don’t miss the following dates to deposit fee and submitting online application form.
- The last date to submit application form is 7 th Jan, 2013.
- The starting date to submit application form is 17 th Dec, 2012.
- The fee can be deposit from 17 th Dec, 2012 to 7 th Jan, 2013.
Name and Number of vacancies : There are total 175 vacancies open which are further divided into reserved categories.
- 75 vacancies are open for officer junior Management (Scale-I) Assistant Managers
- 100 vacancies are open for Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Age limit, Pay Scale, Qualification and Experiences : The eligibility criteria along with the pay scale for each of the post are given below.
- For the post of Officer Junior Management (Scale I) Assistant Manager : The monthly salary for this post is Rs.26,500/- inclusive of All DA and HRA. The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 28 years. The relaxation in the age as per the rules of reservation is allowed. The bachelor degree is must to apply for the post of assistant manager along with the knowledge of local language.
- For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose): The monthly salary for this post is Rs.13,200/- inclusive of all DA and HRA. The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 28 years. The graduation degree is required to apply the post of office assistant along with the knowledge of local language in writing, speaking and reading.
Application Procedure: The detail procedure to deposit fee and submitting online application form is given below.
- Fee : The fee for general category is Rs.100 and for reserved category is Rs.20/-. The fee can be deposited from 17 th Dec, 2012 to 7 th Jan 2013. Download the Challan from the website of www.smgbank.com for the post you want to apply. Fill the Challan detail and deposit any branch of Canara Bank or South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB).
- Online Application Form : The procedure to apply is very common and simple. As first you have to go on the main website www.smgbank.com and click on the career section/ recruitment section. Go to recruitment notification “Recruitment of assistant manager, officers in SMGB”. Click to apply online and fill all the columns of online application form. Application will be accepted from 17 th Dec, 2012 to 7 th Jan 2012.
Selection Procedure : The selection of the candidates will be go through on the basis of performance in RRBs CWE which was held in Sept, 2012 by IBPS . The merit list will be prepared on total weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) on the basis of marks obtained in CWE by IBPS . The final selection will be done after interview session who will be selection by merit list.
