One of the legends of New Zealand Cricket, Martin Crowe passed away on March 3 2016 at the age of 53 years. He was earlier suffering from cancer which had affected his immune system. During his international career, he had scored 5444 runs which included 17 centuries and an average of 45.36. He has also captained his national side in 16 tests and won the Man of Series Award in the 1992 World Cup. His career best score was 299.

Tony Warren, creator of Coronation Street, passed away
The creator of Coronation Street, legendary Tony Warren passed away on March 1 2016 at the age of 79 years. Tony was born on July 8 1936 and completed his professional education from Elliott-Clarke theatre school. He was a key performer in BBC Radio during the Children’s Hour and also contributed to numerous roles hosted on Radio show.
World Billionaires 2016
Forbes on March 1 2016 released its new version of World Billionaires which had the name of 1810 people from all over the world. The figure was less by 16 as compared to the list of billionaires of 2015. The top was the list was reserved by Bill Gates for the third consecutive year with a net worth of USD 75 billion. The list also included the name of Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO) and Jeff Bezos (Amazon’s Head). Mark had moved from 16 th position to number 6. The first Indian in the list is Mukesh Ambani at number 36 with a net worth of USD 19.3 billion.
World Wildlife Day
March 3 2016 is observed as the World Wildlife Day. The theme for this year was based on preserving the wildlife and creating an awareness that the future of the wildlife in the hands of the humans. The day is celebrated by praising the beauty of the flora and fauna environment. Anti-Terror Bill passed in South Korea
On March 02 2016, South Korea passed an anti-terror bill in its Parliament and converted the same into a full-fledged law. This is the first terror bill which has been adopted by South Korea. The house had 300 seats, out of which only 156 participated in the voting process.
